About
I am a senior infrastructure and platform architect focused on distributed systems, platform engineering, and secure-by-default system design.
My work centers on how complex systems are structured, how they behave under real-world constraints, and how they evolve over time. This includes infrastructure, container platforms, automation, and the organizational systems required to operate them effectively.
Over the course of a 30+ year career, I have worked across the full lifecycle of systems, from hands-on engineering and enterprise infrastructure to architecture, consulting, and organizational leadership. That progression shapes how I approach problems using systems thinking, treating them as interconnected systems with constraints, tradeoffs, and failure modes that must be understood, not abstracted away.
This writing is intended for experienced engineers, architects, and technical leaders working with complex systems.
This site is a personal technical journal. It is used to document patterns, design models, operational realities, and emerging workflows, including the use of AI as a reasoning and engineering aid. The focus is on clarity, practicality, and long-term usefulness rather than trends or tooling.
